The Harold Club

Life Education Trust is all about helping our children to grow up with good self-esteem, respect for themselves and others, and maintain a healthy body by making healthy choices. Life Education is totally community funded. The cost of operating the mobile classroom and delivering the Life Education programmes to the primary and intermediate schools in the ‘Heartland’ region is high. That is why we need your help.

We would like to invite you to join the Life Education experience and be part of something truly special. By contributing $400 a year ($33.33 a month) you can become part of our Harold Club. Our aim is to encourage people or businesses to make a regular contribution to the Harold Club and in doing so, ensure some sustainable funds to contribute to the operating costs of our Life Education Trust. You can be confident that all monies received remain in the Heartland Otago Southland Trust.

What can you expect in return?

  • You can make a difference to your community
  • Your name will be printed on the back of the classroom with other Harold Club Members
  • Your name listed here on our web page
  • An invitation to periodical social functions
  • Periodic newsletters on what we have been up to.
  • Harold Club framed certificate, window stickers etc
  • A GST Invoice (if applicable)
  • Tax Deduction (if applicable)
  • But the most rewarding part of being a Harold Club member is in knowing that you are part of something good, something that works and engages the children of New Zealand in a positive way.

If you would like more information on becoming a part of this exclusive and very valuable group of people, please email heartland@lifeedtrust.org.nz

Testimonials

"A very unique learning environment that engages students through novelty of resources, an energetic presenter/teacher, drawing on the children's rapture and memories of Harold as a character who they adore"

— Clinton School
"Consistently enjoyable for the students in a different learning/class environment."

— Rosebank Primary School
"For our school, the Life Education bus provides resources to explain more complex Health education than we can do in the classroom eg. TAM Pip, our Educator is very engaging with the children and all of the technology supports and aids learning. Even though our senior children are older they absolutely LOVE Harold and can't wait for the bus to arrive. We are very lucky to have such a fabulous resource available to us."
